Dimapur, Oct. 11 (EMN): Tseminyu Sub-divisional Planning and Development Board conducted its monthly meeting on Oct. 10 at the DB’s customary court building in ADC office where different issues regarding the development of the sub-division was discussed.
The Board reviewed the last meeting minutes and discussed programs with regard to development of Rumishinyu village, the SDPDB’s adopted village where the house decided that the SDPDB meeting for the month of December will be held at Rumishinyu Village. The ADC and chairman, Nokchasashi Ao asked all the members to attend the same.
As proposed in the last SDPDB meeting, the inspector of Food and Civil Supply Tseminyu, Sashila gave a brief report on the schemes being implemented for the benefits of the beneficiaries under the PHH and AAY schemes. She informed the house that after a gap of three years the allocation of food grain under Annapurna Scheme which entitled the benefits of a beneficiary by 10 kg. of rice per month, has been received for six months (from April to Sept/2018), where identifications of beneficiaries have also been carried out.
Concerning the ongoing MR vaccination campaign, SMO Tseminyu Dr. Tinenlo apprised the house that health workers in the sub-division are on their job tirelessly and said that 67.9 per cent of the total targeted school children under the area covered by CHC Tseminyu Town have been vaccinated successfully. SMO also said that so far 1955 children have been successfully vaccinated under Tseminyu town CHC. Another MR vaccination day has been fixed again at BHSS Tseminyu i.e. on 16th October where it is anticipated that more children are ready to get MR vaccination.
