- DIMAPUR — The
monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Tseminyu was
held on Tuesday at the deputy commissioner's office conference hall, Tseminyu,
with Deputy Commissioner and DPDB Vice Chairman Rohit Singh presiding over the
meeting.
- According to an update, during the meeting, the recognition
of Khwenphen village was discussed and forwarded for government approval.
- The Soil and Water Conservation and Rural Development
departments presented their activities through PowerPoint presentations. The
Public Health Engineering and Agriculture departments were assigned to present
their activities in the next DPDB meeting.
- New members of the Tseminyu DPDB, Assistant Registrar of
Cooperative Societies Kenilo Khing and Junior Engineer, Public Works Department
(Road and Bridges), Sinisha Kent, were introduced and welcomed during the
meeting.
- The Longkhim Sub-Division District Planning &
Development Board (SDPDB) meeting was held on Monday at DUDA Hall, Longkhim,
Tuensang, under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner and Vice
Chairman, SDPDB, Anoka H Assumi.
- Assumi, on the occasion, urged the members to remain in the
station to serve the public in every possible way. The meeting began with a
review of the previous meeting's minutes and discussions on various agendas.
- The members deliberated on the agenda of constituting an
Urban Station Committee for Chare town, constructing a separate building for
the OST Centre at Longkhim, upgrading the OC post to an SDPO post at Longkhim,
and constructing a multi-purpose building at Longkhitpe Village under Chare
block.
- Meanwhile, Rural Development and Agriculture departments
were entrusted to present their departmental activities in the next SDPDB
meeting.
