Dimapur, July 2 (EMN): The office of the ADC Tseminyu, executives and members of Tseminyu Village Youth Organization, Zisunyu Youth Organization, Tseminyu Town Youth Organization conducted a joint surprise checking, on July 1 in all the shops under Tseminyu Jurisdiction, where banned items (tobacco & Burma goods) and expired goods were seized.
The defaulters in possession of banned items and expired goods were penalized a sum of Rs 300 to 600 respectively. All the seized items were later on destroyed in the presence of the executives and publics.
The youth organizations of Tseminyu issued a stern warning to second offense that heavy penalty will be imposed, and further cautioned shop keepers to refrain from malpractices in their businesses under its jurisdiction.
