Dimapur, Nov. 12 (EMN): The Thadou Students’ Association General Headquarters (TSA-GHQ) in a thanksgiving ceremony for the successful celebration of the TSA diamond jubilee celebrated in October 2017 launched its ‘ambulance project’ on Sat. Nov. 11 by Manipur Minister for Social welfare and Cooperation Nemcha Kigpen where 47 individuals pledged for TSA ‘ambulance project’ with the TSA receiving as amount of Rs. 5.7 lac. at the launch of the project.

Legislator Kigpin in her speech called on the community to march forward for the rapid development of the Thadou tribe in the state thereby leaving behind all indifferences within the community.
She also hailed TSA as the most dedicated and sincere civil society organisation in the state, maintained a press note from the organisation.
The ceremony was attended by the Thadou Women’s Association president Chingsawmching Kilong, Thadou Inpi speaker Dr. Lalkholen Singson, Executive Member, ADC-SH SL Kaikhosei among many others.
Miss Kut 2017 Esther Nengpilhing Haokip who was also winner of Miss Thadou in 2016 was felicitated by TSA.
Miss Kut Haokip in her speech appreciated the Thadou community in initiating Hun “Thadou Cultural Festival” in 2016 which became the stepping stone for her success and conveyed best wishes to the Thadou civil bodies especially TSA.
Ambulance Project of TSA was also dedicated to God by Rev Satkhothang Singson.
“The project will be a milestone achievement by Christmas and we shall try our best to start delivering the ambulance service before Christmas as a Christmas gift to Thadou community in particular and all other communities in the state”, stated the TSA.
