This week’s Truth Speakers for Truth Seekers is about choosing “oneword365” to focus on for the upcoming year 2026.

November End! Only five more weeks and once again we will be stepping into another year.
In the beginning of this year (March 14), I wrote about choosing “oneword365” to focus on for this year. And do it intentionally.
When I asked those who I taught this principle in the beginning of this year what they had done with it, one had pursued it, the other had forgotten their Word. That means the last one was not intentional about it.
Don’t scold yourself over it if you were like the last one or did not even know about “oneword365”. Just try again. This time, be determined and intentional.
Personally, my one word: “Glory” helped me focus and refocus many times this year. I had it on my mirror, in my Bible, on and in my note books. The glory dome that came over our area in 2024, still leaves its glow, every afternoon just before it gets dark. My increasing prayer is that God’s glory is also seen and manifested through me. In other words that whatever I do brings glory to Him and His purpose for me and my loved ones on this earth.
I already have one for the new year as well as the verses that accompany it. Once studied out thoroughly, I will gladly share it with you all.
Here is a reminder or a refreshener if you forgot what the “OneWord 365 “means. In short- it is One Word that describes what you want to accomplish or focus on in the new year. And 365 means, you focus on it daily in all you do.
However, the dark spiritual forces are coming up now with their” one word” slogans.
The god that comes up with the non sensical ones and uses kids for his purpose of chanting it, is the one that is called Satan or Lucifer, trying to lure them in something sinister or to his dark place. Kids- unknowingly- have come up with non sensical one word responses to your questions, commands and comments, including some silly actions with it. Get deeper behind that one word and the god behind it in the words they are saying. If they choose and say that word and are intentional about using it negative and rebelliously non sensical, they might invite something in their life and your household and family, that everyone involved, regrets later.
Educate yourself. And then educate the kids. Put your foot down of them saying the positive inviting word and actions and responses. If you want peace in your life and household, speak it! Get smarter and come up with an uplifting one word. Think about your own responses and make sure they are right and positive. Just because kids or young people respond witty, snobby or outright silly, does not have to determine your reactions and actions towards them (if you do not know the 6-7 phrase yet, that started since November 2024, with its silly gestures, check out the root cause- be ahead of your kids, not behind. AI will give you the usual answer, not to deep – but check out Taylor Alesia – she exposes the dark truth behind the 6-7 meme).
To come back regarding your One Word that will benefit you, check out the article written by Alece Ronzino on Dec 19, 2020 in her blogsite: https://oneword365.com/on-choosing-a-word-2020/
Her slogan
“Choose just one word- Go where it takes you. Be what it makes you!”
If you want to be a LIGHT and make a difference for GOOD, be intentional about your Word and start now! The peace that will come with it, the way you view situations will totally change because you filter it through that “oneword365”. Like having a telescope and the end of it, is that one word written in the glass as you look through it!
In a world where there seem to be less and less peace and more and more confusion, increasing anxiety, fear and depression, what is the remedy? People are reaching out more to psychologists and psychiatrists first, instead of to The Rock of all ages – God the Father who is the source of peace. We have to learn how to refocus. “Oneword365” might be our remedy.
When God was asked by Moses: “How to introduce you?” God said: “I AM that I AM – I will be that I will be”. Let this be a comfort that He Was, Is and always will be. Learning what His character is like will only give you more peace. He is not a God that is changing His mind. Once He said it, it is so.
He is FOR mankind, not against. He deeply loves mankind and therefore you. He is a personal God, interested in having a loving, caring, personal relationship with us. But He is against the dark forces behind mankind. The good part is, we have a choice. The not good news is, people misuse that free will they have, thereby affecting the world and people around them.
In the time before Jesus appeared on earth, I AM was a sacred name. Spelled JHWH in Hebrew or Yahweh/Yah. yhwh, the tetragrammaton because of its four letters, is, strictly speaking, the only proper name for God. It is also the most frequent name, occurring in the Old Testament 6, 828 times (almost 700 times in the Psalms alone). Yah is a shortened form that appears fifty times in the Old Testament, including forty-three occurrences in the Psalms, often in the admonition "hallelu-jah" (lit. praise Jah). English Bibles represent the name yhwh by the title "Lord" (written in capitals to distinguish it from "lord" [adonai] [y"nod}a]). The Septuagint rendered yhwh as kyrios [kuvrio"] (Lord). The line from yhwh to 'adonai [y"nod}a] to kyrios [kuvrio"] is significant for the Pauline statement: "And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord" (Php 2:11).
When Jesus was asked this question of who He was, by the authorities of that day: He would answer “I am the Bread of Life”; “I am the Light of the World”; “I am the Door”; “ I am the Good Shepherd”; “ I am the Resurrection and the Life”; “ I am the Way and the Truth and the Life”; “ I am the True Vine”.
It became more forceful in John 8:58. Jesus said there to the Jewish authorities: “Before Abraham was, I am”. This "I AM" statement directly links Himself to God's name (JHWH) as revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:14, asserting His divinity and eternal existence. While there are other instances where Jesus uses "I AM" to identify Himself, like "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12), the context of John 8:58 is a direct, forceful response to a question about His identity, which is significant
But the most stunning outcome on His answer: “I AM” was when He was about to be betrayed by one of His own disciples and consequently captured. In John 18:4-8, it is written: “Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom are you looking for? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am He. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. AS SOON THEN AS HE HAD SAID UNTO THEM, I AM HE, THEY WENT BACKWARD, AND FELL TO THE GROUND. Then he asked them again, Whom are you looking for? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore you are looking for me, let these go their way”.
Can you imagine saying your name and people falling backward because of the power coming from that name? Think again: Your name can be powerful. Learn the meaning of it. So is your one word. It can take you in the dark or the light. It can make you or break you.
Choose wisely. And please educate your kids. They can come up with their own “One word 365” that will bring peace and joy instead of rebellion and darkness.
Be blessed as you and your family choose your ONEWORD365.
