Dimapur, October 3 : As resolved in the mobilisation meeting organised by ACAUT Nagaland on September 28 under the banner of Co-ordination Committee on Fuel Adulteration (CCoFA) with various organisations, unions, associations etc. the Dimapur District Truck Owners' Association (DDTOA) has decided to observe "Off Road Day" by truckers within Dimapur district on October 4. DDTOA president Hokheto Kiba, in a release, today has requested the truck owners to observe the 'Off Road Day' as a mark of support and solidarity to the demand of CCoFA. The CCoFA served a 15-day ultimatum to the State Government to institute CBI inquiry into fuel adulteration racket exposed by ACAUT
Citizens support CBI probe
The Concerned Citizens of Nagaland (CCN) has extended support to the demand of Coordination Committee on Fuel Adulteration for a CBI probe into fuel adulteration issue, saying the CBI is required to deliver free and fair justice in the case. “The demand of the Coordination Committee is the demand of every right thinking citizen of Nagaland,” the CCN said in a release today. It also appealed to the government to respect the citizens' joint demand.
