Tribal Affairs department holds consultative meeting with residential schools

Dimapur, Sep. 17 (EMN): Directorate of Tribal Affairs department conducted a one-day consultative meeting with Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) of Nagaland in its conference hall, Kohima, on September 16.

The joint director and HoD of Tribal Affairs, I Sino Phom, who also chaired the meeting, congratulated all the EMRSs for cent percent result in HSLC examinations and also highlighted the 20 point roles and responsibilities of EMRS principals.

Also speaking on the occasion, the additional secretary of Tribal Affairs Nchumbemo Lotha briefed about the MOTA guidelines for management of EMRS and progress of the department.

A DIPR report stated that staff from the directorate presented a power point on the guidelines for EMR, accounting and finance management.

It stated that the principals of EMRS Tizit, Tuensang and Diphupar also highlighted the functions of the schools. The meeting concluded with a group discussion.
