Dimapur, June 17: Trends Salon, an exclusive beauty salon for men, was inaugurated on Monday in Dimapur. It was dedicated by Chekiye Village Baptist Church pastor Kihoto Zhimomi.
The newly opened salon is located at 3rd mile in Dimapur opposite to the HP petrol pump.
Proprietor Semato Sumi said that he opened the salon, which will also provide training to the interested youth, to encourage self reliance and entrepreneurship among the Naga youths. While acknowledging that he didn’t go for formal training in the beauty bar industry, he said Nagas venturing into private enterprises are countable as most people look for government jobs.
