Dimapur, Aug. 31 (EMN): The department of Treasuries and Accounts bade farewell to Director Daso Paphino and Assistant Director Neivicha Angami on Aug. 31 at the DTA conference hall in Kohima.
Speaking on behalf of the department, Principal Director K Tiayanger Tzudir said that the personal efforts put by the two officers have helped in the growth of the department. He expressed that their contributions will always be remembered.
In his farewell speech, the retiring director Paphino said the generosity and kindness of the people had inspired him to give his best at work. He told his colleagues to never miss an opportunity to travel and meet the people in their district offices. “This is where they should draw their strength and aspirations to do better,” she added.
He asserted that that it is important to play one’s role responsibly and with commitment. Saying that one cannot work in isolation, the retiring officer added that one can achieve through team work.
Further, he encouraged the staff to be sincere in their duties to avail the best opportunities and give their best service to the people and be blessed.
