Wokha, Sep. 30 (EMN): Assistant pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, Rokopra Mekro, has insisted on obedience and to love God to achieve success and prosperity in life.
Speaking on day-three of the ongoing ‘Transformation Crusade’ in Wokha on September 29, Mekro urged the congregation to and restraint from the worldly pleasures. He cited instances in which most people were carried away from God’s saving grace by their love for fashions and other worldly pleasures. He reminded the congregation that success and prosperity will come through obedience and love for God.
Earlier in the day Renbemo Tungoe led the service, while Samuel Ovung, associate pastor WTBC, invoked God’s blessing.
Rokopra Mekro, speaking in the evening service, called upon the congregation to come forward and receive deliverance stating salvation is free to all the people who are ready to accept Jesus Christ as their redeemer.
He further called upon the people to have close relation, attachment, and relationship with God.
Aying Odyuo led the service, while Rev. S Ilow Ezung, associate pastor WTBC, invoked God’s blessings.
It was also informed that more than 40 prayer chain from Kohima are praying for the Transformation Crusade, which began on September 27. The Crusade will conclude on October 1.
