Hundreds responded to the call for receiving salvation at the ongoing Transformation Crusade, which entered its fifth day on Sunday at Kohima local ground with the participation of around ten thousand people.
Speaking on the importance of worship, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, emphasized on the importance of worship, where he said that knowing how to worship brings blessings. He urged the congregation to surrender themselves to Jesus so that they might never be in regret in life. He said worship could be performed through different forms such as songs, giving, preaching, meditation etc. He said worship could leads to know and understand God.
Making references from the Gospel John 4:23 and Psalm 148, the reverend urged them for more time in worship in order to know God and draw closer to Him. He said true worshipper should worship the father in truth and in spirit. Also quoting Deuteronomy 6:5, he urged the congregation to “love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy might.”
The praise and worship was led by Mezhiisevi Zutso of Transformation Worship Team.
In the afternoon session, Mezhiisevi Zutso, lecturer of Kohima Bible College and author of the book ’Satanism; Naga teens and Devil worship,” shared on the topic ‘Symptoms and danger of devil worship and demon possession.’
In the first session held on February 27, Mezhiisevi stated that a person might not directly get into Satan worshipping, yet his/her involvement in occults (any supernatural power not from God) through music, games etc. could slowly led to obsession, oppression and the possession.
On Saturday, the praise and worship was led by Nosevo Yongo of the Transformation Worship team. The evening service was led by Petekuolie Krose and Mrs Avi Thülü-o as the pianist and Vesato Thülü-o was the conductor. The invocation and offertory prayer was pronounced by Theyievizo Yano.
Senior pastor of Baptist Mission Church, Rev. Moa Longchari, exhorted the congregation that God is able to do anything as He is the greatest physician and the chief doctor.
While emphasising that no one is perfect or completely good or bad, he reminded that everyone needed God’s grace. He said, ‘God does not accept you for your perfection but for your believe in Jesus Christ,’ adding God’s love is so true that Also stating that whoever has not tasted God’s love and power has missed the greatest thing in life, he urged the congregation not to miss the greatest gift in life, which is to receive salvation and God’s love.
Hundreds responded to the call for receiving the salvation. So far 117 people of all ages have been counseled, while the prayer warriors consisting of 29 prayer groups continue to hold prayer chain round the clock.
