The third day of the ongoing transformation crusade in Kohima marked another assembly of about 5, 000 people at Kohima local ground with Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo as the speaker. A press release from the organizers on Friday informed that the speaker spoke on the theme ‘Arise and Shine’ (Isaiah 60:1).
The press release stated: “He shared that Satan is a spirit of darkness and cannot withstand light and he called upon the congregation that, Jesus is the light and that His light must shine in us. Citing from the Bible, he reminded the congregation that there are three spirits, human spirit, Holy Spirit and Satan spirit where Satan spirit gives false promises since it is a spirit of darkness, while Jesus is the light of the world and whoever follow Him shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.”
Second day updates
More than three thousands believers from all walks of life thronged Kohima local ground to attend the second day of the on-going Transformation Crusade on Thursday with Velavoyi Keyho, the pastor of Phezoucha Nagamese Baptist Church in Kohima as the speaker. The organizers issued a press release on Thursday to offer updates on the program.
Sharing on the life of Jesus Christ coming to this world and how He preached to save the souls and sacrificed his life for our sins, Pastor VelavoyiKeyho quoted from the bible “The need for labourers” when Jesus said “The harvest is plenteous, but the labourers are few” and urged the people to work for the Lord and be an ambassador of God.
Citing from the biblical characters like Joseph, Isaiah, and Paul etc about the benefit of serving the lord that, for one man’s righteousness, a nation was prospered and saved Pastor Velavo said that in this 21st century, God is calling us to reach out the gospel to every Nation from every field and to receive salvation through Christ and further he challenged the people present to take the right decision and rededicate one’s life. We need revival in our land and revival began with prayer or we all will perish like Sodom and Gomorrah in the bible, he added and called upon the people to be a labour and harvest for the Lord.
Earlier, Pastor LetuoliePienyu led the service while Pastor RuokuowheliePienyu invoked God’s blessings and pronounced the offertory prayer. Mrs.Neibano V. Swuro conducted the congregation withMrs.Ako-u Kiewhuo in the piano. Praise and worship led by Transformation worship team with MezhuseviZutso as the leader.
‘An elderly woman who has been deaf for 10 years and many people suffering for various illnesses were healed while four persons were also delivered from spirit of fear,’ the press release stated.
29 groups of prayer warriors, more than 200 volunteers and 130 counsellors armed with spiritual warfare been the backbone of the third transformation crusade of Kohima.
He challenged the congregation to take a decision that will affect their future which will give them eternal hope. ‘Failure to evangelise had led destruction to Sodom and Gomorrah, he stated that to avoid such destruction in our land and families, God is calling us today for His ‘harvest,’ he said, according to the press release.
