District Sub-Treasury Office Longleng conducts training on Jeevan Pramaan for local pensioners.
DIMAPUR — The District Sub-Treasury Office in Longleng conducted a one-day training on Jeevan Pramaan for pensioners of Longleng district at the Village Council Chairman (VCC) and Village Development Board (VDB) Hall in Longleng on Wednesday.
According to a DIPR report, the programme began with an invocation by Changlong Phom, President of the Pensioners Union Longleng.
Sub-Treasury Officer of Longleng S Denngoi Phom welcomed the gathering and addressed the pensioners on the importance of registering on the Jeevan Pramaan portal. He stated that registration on the portal will enable pensioners to verify themselves from the comfort of their homes without visiting the treasury for physical verification.
Junior Accounts Assistant of the Sub-Treasury Office, Longleng, Chetei served as the resource person for the programme. The training programme focused on the registration of pensioners on the Jeevan Pramaan portal for the generation of Digital Life Certificates.
A total of 40 unit representatives attended the training programme.
