two-day training programme was organised on March 11 and 12 at the Mhainamtsi
village community hall on the topic "Production technology of
horticultural crops in the NEH Region".
- The event was organised by the Jalukie Block Farmer's
Producer Organisation in collaboration with ICAR-KVK, Peren, Nagaland, and
sponsored by the Central Institute of Horticulture, Medziphema, according to a
press release.
- During the programme, various topics such as nutrient
management in Kharif vegetable crops, scientific cultivation of Kharif
vegetables, horticulture-based integrated farming systems, Jalkund: low-cost
water harvesting for vegetable cultivation, integrated pest management, and
post-harvest management in King Chilli, among others, were covered by resource
persons from KVK Peren and the Central Institute of Horticulture.
