DIMAPUR — A district-level training on the family planning logistics management information system (FP-LMIS) for health centres was held at the CMO conference hall in Wokha on August 10.
According to Mhonbeni Ezung, district programme manager (NHM), the training was held to improve the district's family planning reporting system related to indenting and stock issues. She further said the training was an important platform for understanding FP-LMIS.
The training's resource person, K H Kanta, consultant FP-LMIS for Nagaland and Manipur, explained that the FP-LMIS is essentially an application that manages the supply chain of family planning contraceptives. He stated that it was launched in the country in 2017 but could not be fully operational due to the pandemic.
