
DIMAPUR — The office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Kohima, in collaboration with the Pharmacy Cell of Health and Family Welfare department, organised a one-day training on quality assurance, DVDMS and record keeping in drug store management in its conference hall on July 26.
An update from the CMO office stated that personnel from Kohima, Wokha and Kiphire districts attended the training.
The programme was chaired by Khizotuo, DPO Kohima, while an invocation prayer was said by Kevingu-ü, pharmacist at Zhadima PHC.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]During the training, the CMO of Kohima, Dr. Tumchobeni, spoke on the importance of quality management in drug stores and to keep the record updated for audit purpose. She also highlighted about the importance of DVDMS and encouraged the participants to work sincerely and diligently in health sectors.
During the technical sessions, Khele Thorie, deputy director of Pharmacy and SCM, spoke on quality assurance in drug store management, while Thungchio Y Enny, senior pharmacist, spoke on DVDM, and Phyobemo C Tungoe, pharmacist at CMO, Kohima, spoke on record keeping in drug store management.
The training concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Zayiechutuo, pharmacist at CMO, Kohima.
