Dimapur, July 8 (EMN): Dimapur police commissioner has informed that in view of the special train from Bengaluru carrying stranded citizens of Nagaland scheduled to arrive at Dimapur railway station on Thursday at around 6 am, there will be restriction on vehicular traffic one hour prior and two hours post arrival of the train along a specific route.
The designated route where traffic restriction will be implemented is from “Dimapur Railway Station to Agri Expo, 4th Mile via Traffic Control, Zone-I - Hotel Theta Fort (through under the flyover) — Burma Camp Jn - Veterinary Jn — Old Dhansiri Bridge — Purana Bazaar Jn —T.K. Service, 2 1/2 Mile to Agri Expo, 4th Mile”.
“However, in case of early/ late arrival of the special train, the vehicular traffic restriction shall be enforced accordingly one hour prior and two hours post arrival. It is therefore, appealed to all for cooperation in the interest of public safety,” the police commissioner informed.
Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha also informed that the special train, which started its journey from Bengaluru with around 330 stranded citizens of Nagaland on July 6, is expected to reach Dimapur this morning (Thursday).
