Dimapur, Nov. 29 (EMN): In view of the 57th Nagaland Statehood Day celebration at Khuochiezie, Kohima local ground, on December 1, the Kohima police has issued traffic regulations which would be enforced as part of the security arrangement.
According to a press release from the Kohima police PRO, only vehicles with car pass ‘A’ would be allowed entry inside Khuochiezie. Both entry and exit would be regulated from the Southern Gate, adding no vehicle would be allowed to enter the Northern Gate through Razhü Point.
It stated that vehicles with car pass ‘B’ would be allowed to park opposite NSF office, Congress Bhavan and DC office complex.
Vehicles with car pass ‘C’ would be allowed to park inside the Old MLA hostel complex/ Phoolbari. It stated that entry and exit would be regulated via Phoolbari police point.
Vehicles permanently parked between ‘Y’ Junction and Northern Gate of Khuochiezie are directed to clear before evening of November 30. It stated that no vehicle would be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 0600 hrs onwards during Statehood day celebrations from BSNL telephone exchange till Classic Island and from MS Classic Island to ‘Y’ Junction.
It further added that no heavy vehicles would be allowed to ply in Kohima town till the programme is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 0600 hours, the release added.
