Dimapur, May 24 (EMN): Hinting at the existence of an ‘organised gang’ responsible for a number of recent burglaries in Dimapur, the Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has requested the police in Dimapur to “give importance to the matter” and curb the “menace” at the earliest. In a statement issued on Friday, the media cell of BAN informed that “some culprits” broke into the office of one of its members at Midland, Dimapur in the third week of May. “There have been many reports of burglaries in Midland and other parts of Dimapur in the recent past. As a result, apprehension is slowly developing among the business community and public in general. “It seems the culprits are getting bold and confident and are not afraid to commit such crimes. One cannot rule out an organised gang behind all these,” it stated.
