Dimapur, Sep. 7 (EMN): The Managing Director of ShweNaung Yan Company (SNYC) who is also a member of the UMFCCI visited New Delhi on August 5, 2017, where a meeting was held with some of the Delhi based businessmen. The Chief of SNYC, Myanmar also visited Dimapur, Nagaland to encourage the business community of Nagaland for holding a Border Trade Business Meet between the 4 states of NorthEast India and Myanmar in the last week of September 2017 at Nay Pi Taw, Myanmar where a survey was also done to check how the products of Nagaland can be imported to Myanmar and viceversa and thereby has submitted the report to the UMFCCI for necessary action. In this connection, the Managing Director of SNYC would like to invite interested businessmen from Nagaland in attending the Business Meeting scheduled to be held on November 10, 2017 in Yangon.
Meanwhile, the MD would also like to appreciate Neiphiu Rio, for visiting Myanmar in 2013 where he had a talk with the Parliament Speaker, Union Minister of Myanmar, Mandalay Chief Minister and Sagaing Chief Minister in fostering good relation with the Myanmar Central Government. He also laud Rio’s second visit to Myanmar in the month of June, 2017 during which the Mandalay Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues, Mandalay Chamber of Commerce, President Tamu Border Trade, President Mandalay Embassy General Consular and his subordinates had interaction with him towards improvement of the border trade between Nagaland and Myanmar. Where the Business delegation of Myanmar also stressed on the development of one of the ITCs located along Nagaland-Myanmar at the earliest.
