Dimapur, April 7 (EMN): Addressing the Peren District Planning Development Board (DPDB), DAN Chairman & Advisor (Finance) and Peren DPDB Chairman, T.R. Zeliang expressed serious concern on the irregularities of officers from office and their posting place, lamenting that some officers are present only in the DPDB meeting.
While appreciating all the members for their cooperation, he called on the officers to be sincere while discharging their duties. He also made a special mention of the Development Department to implement the programmes and schemes on timely basis and also submit Utilization Certificate after the completion of every programme to avail funds for the next project.
The meeting held at DPDB Conference Hall, on April 6 was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of DPDB Peren, Zarenthung Ezung.
The Board reviewed the meeting minutes of the last meeting including, banning plying of vehicles carrying logs/timber during monsoon season with effect from May 1.
SDO (Civil) Robin informed the house of the 412 plots approved and allocated to various NGOs and individuals at New Peren Headquarter.
Department of Cooperation, Economic & Statistic and Tourism highlighted their departmental activities.
The Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Peren College, Peren and BSNL have been requested to present power presentation in the next meeting.
