Kohima, Dec. 20 (EMN): In view of a pending resolution to the impasse between different taxi unions plying between Kohima and Senapati districts, the Tenyimi Peoples’ Organization (TPO) has asked the parties in concern to refrain from all activities that ‘hamper and disturb’ commuters particularly during the festive season. TPO stated in a press release on Wednesday that the matter of differences between taxi unions plying between the two districts of Nagaland and Manipur and causing inconvenience to travellers had been brought to its notice. The organization has deliberated and endorsed the Naga Peoples’ Organisation (NPO) of Senapati and the Angami Public Organization (APO) to take up the issue for a tangible solution. However, noting that a solution to the matter was yet to be arrived at, TPO officials expressed concern at the harassment caused to travellers particularly students during the festive season.
