Dimapur, Sep. 17 (EMN): A sanitation campaign and advocacy about the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act 2016 for state government officials will be inaugurated by the chief secretary of Nagaland, Temjen Toy, at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat’s conference hall on September 19 at 11: 00 am in Kohima.
The government publicity agency the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) gave updates on Tuesday informing about the scheduled programme.
The programme will be organised by “mission mode team,” in collaboration with the establishment of the state commissioner for persons with disabilities.
The objective is to sensitise and create awareness concerning the rights of persons with disabilities, the updates stated. All the administrative and office heads besides nodal officers for persons with disabilities are requested to attend the programme, the IPR added.
