Dimapur, Feb. 15 (EMN): The BJP candidate of 1 Dimapur-I Assembly Constituency H Tovihoto Ayemi, accompanied by his supporters and party workers held meetings in municipal wards 5 and 6 on Wednesday, covering Police colony, Bank colony, Fire Brigade colony, Namgalong colony, Haralu colony sector I & II, Power House colony, Over Bridge colony, Hongkong Market area, Hazi Park area and Rail Bazaar area.
Tovihoto in his speech said that he had given his best in working for the welfare and upliftment of the constituency, and urged the electorates to support him if they have seen any merits in what he has done and enable him to do more and deliver the goods to public.
He reiterated that peace, harmony and development of the people have always been his priority and will continue to endeavour for the same even in the days to come.
Stating that everything is possible when there is unity and togetherness among the people, he called upon the people of Dimapur-I constituency to come together and exercise their franchise by means of free and fair election and elect to power the party led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an update stated.
Ward leaders and party workers who spoke at the two meetings called upon the electorates to support Tovihoto Ayemi.
They said he will lead the people in all spheres and his works were vividly visible in all areas of Dimapur-I constituency; they further appealed to the voters to ensure thumping victory and allow him to bring more developmental reforms in the constituency.
On Tuesday, Tovihoto held meetings in Ward 3 and 4 and addressed the public of UNB-A, UNB-B, Jasokie, Sunrise, Rainbow, Paira, Chungaizaeng, Ragailong, Banjak Phom, Northern Angami, Rengma, Sumi, Chakhesang and Zeliang colonies.
