Tourism department to organise training on homestay operation

DIMAPUR — The Department of Tourism will be organising hands-on-training on ‘Homestay operation’ with the objective to provide training on standardising services and facilities for homestay facilities.

In a notification, the department informed candidates interested in providing hospitality services to guests and general administrative duties, to apply for the training course to be held in Kohima and Pfutsero. Candidates should be preferably 10th standard passed and the minimum age is 18 years.

“There is limited capacity of 30 seats each and each applicant will be accepted on first come first served basis,” the notification stated. Interested candidates may submit their applications to Directorate of Tourism or email to nagalandtourism2014@gmail.com before May 10.
