Dimapur, July 4 (EMN): Adviser for Tourism, Khehovi Yepthomi visited and inspected various work projects under Swadesh Dharshan in Wokha District and Doyang.
The advisor was accompanied by Secretary for Tourism, T Mhabemo Yanthan along with officals from the engineering wing of the Directorate of Tourism, informed a news bulletin from the DIPR.
The advisor and the officials visited Pangti Village “to inspect the ongoing work as this year also the state will host the amur falcons, a migratory bird that comes in millions all the way from Siberia to roost and rejuvenate in that area”.
They also visited the developmental works under ‘Tourism at Doyang’; the works on log huts, cafeteria, water sport area and other recreational activities are going on, in order to cater the inflow of tourist in the district especially in the month of October, November and December to watch the Amur Falcons, stated the release.
