Photo and video sharing app Instagram has come a long way since its CEO Kevin Systrom shared a photo of a stray dog sitting near a taco stand in Mexico in 2010, becoming a popular online platform with more than 1.2 billion monthly active users worldwide today.
Besides helping people stay connected with their loved ones and friends, it has evolved into a platform where big personalities like celebrities, lawmakers and sports personalities keep in touch with their fans though visual updates. People also use the platform for various purposes like online marketplace, social justice, promote business, create sponsored posts or stories etc.

1. Sungjemlila Longkumer (@sungjemish): Based in Dimapur, Longkumer has 161K followers at the time of filing this story.
She graduated in Sociology from Tetso College in Dimapur this year and regularly posts photos and reels about skincare products and reviews as well as endorses products for her followers in a unique and creative way.

2. Andrea Kevichusa (@andreakevichusa): The model and actress has 147K followers.
She recently hit the headlines for her debut Bollywood film “Anek” directed by Anubhav Sinha.
The 21-year-old model-turned actress is the first actor from the Northeast to play a lead role in Bollywood.
3. Alobo Naga (@alobonaga): The singer and songwriter, who has large fans following even from outside the state, currently has 143K followers on Instagram.
He also owns a music school in Dimapur called Musik-A and hosts a talk show called ‘The Alobo Naga Show’ on YouTube.
4. Zuchobeni Tungoe (@zuchobeni_tungoe_98): This gorgeous talented girl has 139K followers on Instagram.
She won 'Kids for Fame' season 3 in 2011, before wining Miss Dimapur title in 2019 and then VLCC Femina Miss India Nagaland 2020.
She also has a beautiful voice and uploads cover songs as well as skincare routines on her YouTube channel.
5. Ruopfuzhanuo Whiso (@ruopfu_whiso): The beauty queen currently has 106K followers on Instagram.
The FBB Colors Femina Miss India Nagaland 2018 described herself as a 'Skincare Addict' and 'Travel bug' on her Instagram page. She posts content about skincare routines, products and fashion.
6. Libe Ezung (@libe_ezung): She is a fashion and skincare influencer with 102K followers on Instagram.
She also own an online store @libes_closet and shares about food @Libe_eats on Instagram.
7. Merenla Imsong (@merenla_imsong): She is an actress, fashion designer and a model. She currently has 101K followers on Instagram.
Known for her roles in “Axone”, “99 Songs” and “Shuruaat Ka Twist”, Imsong also appeared in Netflix original series Call My Agent Bollywood.
