TOLIC Dimapur holds biannual meeting

Committee, Dimapur, at the biannual meeting held at the Assam Rifles Training
Centre & School, Shokhuvi, on February 28.
- DIMAPUR — The first biannual meeting of the
Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Dimapur, was held at
the Assam Rifles Training Centre & School (ARTC&S), Shokhuvi, on
February 28 under the chairmanship of Brigadier Raman Sharma, Sena Medal,
chairman of TOLIC.
- According to an update, 19 representatives from central
government offices, banks, and PSUs in Dimapur participated in the meeting.
- On the occasion, a detailed briefing on the various aspects
of TOLIC was given by Parmod Kumar Singh Rathore, Hindi translator, grade-II,
of ARTC&S. Members of TOLIC, Dimapur, presented their feedback on official
work in Rajbhasha Hindi in their respective offices.
- Assessing the progress regarding the implementation of Hindi
in central government offices in Dimapur, Brigadier Raman Sharma stressed the
importance of the progressive use of Hindi and exhorted all members to
implement the policies issued by the government of India regarding the
implementation of the official language.
- During the meeting, suggestions and feedback points were
invited from the attendees, and these were addressed by the chairman.
