Dimapur, May 13 (EMN): Impressed with the performance of St. Xavier School, Shamator, by securing 100% pass results for two consecutive years in the HSLC examinations, Parliamentary Secretary of Municipal Affair R Tohanba congratulated all successful students for bringing laurels to the school and Shamator sub-division.
Tohanba visited St. Xavier School, Shamator, on May 12 and interacted with the parents and the teaching staff. He encouraged regular joint meetings for healthy growth of the students’ career and the development of the school. While congratulating all the successful students, he also conferred cash awards.
He said it was a proud moment for all the public of Shamator sub-division public saying such outstanding results was unexpected so early due to tense environment in the last two years. He has, however, credited to sheer hard work and self motivation of the students to excel and supported by dedicated and sincere staff for exemplary results.
Tohanba also encourage the students to have an ambition and work with determination to achieve success in life. He further appealed the parents to have regular interactive sessions and also motivate their children to give their best in studies.
St. Xavier School, Shamator, started in the year 2005 with 100 students at the ADC guest house till it was shifted to its present location. Currently, the school has a total enrolment of 1198 students from neighbouring villages.
