Dimapur, May 13 (EMN): The Tobu Area Students’ Union (Tasu) has called off a proposed agitation that would have been in the form of an indefinite closure of government offices in Tobu sub-division. The organisation issued a note informing about the decision.
The organisation expressed gratitude to the chief minister of Nagaland and to the director of Youth Resource & Sports for ‘the prompt response towards the ultimatum served by the union for delay in the construction of youth hall at Tobu headquarter.’
A note from the Tasu stated: ‘Through the action initiated by director, the construction of the youth hall has started after being left abandoned for a period of 8 years and the same has been assured to be completed by Dec. 2018.’
‘In this regard, the Tasu has decided to called off the indefinite closure of government offices under Tobu sub-division,’ the organisation added in the note.
