Parliamentary secretary for Tourism Dr TM Lotha assured the villagers of Yanthang Village under Wokha district that he as their representative would try to provide whatever possible helps to see that the village is developed and asked them to steadfastly extend cooperation to the government.
Inaugurating a suspension bridge last Thursday at Yanthang Village, some 36 kilometers away from Wokha town, the parliamentary secretary expressed the hope that with the inauguration of the suspension bridge over Nzsu River, the difficulties faced by the villagers would not be there. They would become closer and united and the village economy would thrive.
Dr Lotha also stated that the village council and the village development board would coherently work to avail all the developmental facilities from the government. “So let me know what I can do for you,” he asked the villagers and further assured them that he as their MLA would see that all possible helps reach them. Leaders of the village council, VDB and the larger number of Yanthang villagers attended the historic inauguration of the suspension bridge.
