Dimapur, July 3: In support of the ongoing project ‘Love Earth Love Life - Operation Clean Wokha,’ Team Metamorphosis, a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Wokha district, conducted a cleanliness drive at the heart of Wokha town on July 2 from 8 a.m. onwards.
‘Operation Clean Wokha’ was a long term project of the Team Metamorphosis which aimed at not only to make Wokha town clean but also to create awareness, sensitize and educate the citizens in making cleanliness a lifestyle.
The programme was not just the physical cleaning of the surroundings but also the state of one’s mind to live in a clean and healthy environment. The team felt that such attitude should begin from individual and subsequently spread to family towards making a progressive society.
