Tikhir students to impose indefinite blockade

EMN DIMAPUR, JANUARY 6 Not happy with the recent development and to ‘show displeasure to government,’ the Tikhir Tribal Council (TTC) has authorized the Tikhir Students’ Union to impose indefinite blockade of NH 202 under Tikhir jurisdiction. In a press release, the Tikhir Tribal Council said it does not expect ambiguity and contradiction from the ‘esteemed cabinet’ and the government. TTC then appealed the state government for ‘clarity and consistency in adhering to the Cabinet decisions of December 30.
