Three killed in Assam road accident

Goalpara, Jan. 5 (PTI): Three persons died and 12 others were injured in a road accident on National Highway-37 in Goalpara district of lower Assam, police said. The incident took place when two buses collided at Dhanubhanga under Dhupdhara police station on Friday evening, they said. Four people who suffered serious injuries are undergoing treatment at Gauhati Medical College Hospital, police added.
