Dimapur, Aug. 31 (EMN): Dimapur police along with Drugs Controlling Authority of Dimapur on Aug. 31 raided three godowns located at Khermahal area in Dimapur, where various duplicate and spurious tobacco substances were being stored for distribution to various shops.
In this connection, two persons Raj Kapoor (21yrs) son of Rameshwar Prasad of Chinga, resident of Motipur and Diwana Kumar (19 yrs) son of Biswamitra of Alampur, resident of Siksagar have been arrested.
According to addl. dy. commissioner of Police, Dimapur, a case was registered in West Police Station under various sections of IPC, Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA) and Food Safety and Standards Act.
