Three caught with IMFL

Dimapur, Jan. 16 (EMN): The Medziphema battalion of Hq. Igar (north) and police representative seized huge quantity of illegal liquor from one Tata truck bearing registration number NL- 01K – 5134 at Lalmati, Peducha under Kohima district on Jan. 15. According to PRO Igar (north), during the search at mobile check post, the team apprehended three persons with liquor worth INR 2 lac. In this connection, Apik Singh (28) son of Sekhan Singh; Swoto (18) son of Khuvicomma both resident of 4th Mile, Dimapur; and Arif (24) son of Usen Amed, resident of 7th Mile, Dimapur were apprehended. The acuused along with seixed items were handed over to Zubza Police Station for further investigation.
