Dimapur, Oct. 27 (EMN): Thousands gathered at Chozuba town local ground on day-3 of the ongoing Transformation Crusade where Rokopra Mekro, assistant pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, Kohima, was the speaker.
Speaking on ‘Forgiveness of sins,’ the speaker asserted that forgiveness comes freely only from God and is not ‘for sale.’ He said forgiveness comes only through Jesus, who died for our sin, adding salvation is a grace for those who receive Jesus in their lives.
‘Soap does not cleanse our sins’, he stated,’ but only the blood of Jesus can cleanse our sins. Our Lord Jesus Christ is above the laws and forgives us when we come to repentance,’ Mekro stated in his sermon.
The leader of the service was Veküdu Lohe, while the Bible was read by Thüpurüso, pastor of Dzülha. The special praises were sung by CYE, CRC Chozuba town, CYE Richuba and Sevozo.
The Transformation Crusade has more than 60 counsellors from both Kohima and Chozuba along with 70 stewards. Prayer warriors from various prayer groups of Kohima and 17 people from Chozuba are interceding for the crusade.
The fourth day will have Mezhusevi Zutso, writer and preacher and literature secretary to NCRCC, as the speaker at 5 p.m. and the Transformation Crusade team to lead the worship.
