The third IMPCC Nagaland Chapter meeting was held in Kohima to coordinate publicity and government outreach.

DIMAPUR — The third meeting of the Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC), Nagaland Chapter, was held at the Red Cross Conference Hall, Kohima, on Wednesday, with Dr. Engam Pame, Additional Director General of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Imphal, presiding over the session.
According to an update, the meeting was attended by representatives from various member departments and organisations of the IMPCC, including departments under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, the Directorate of Census Operations, Nagaland, and NIELIT, Kohima.
Addressing the meeting, Dr. Pame highlighted the importance of active participation by all member departments in the IMPCC. He urged the members to take collective responsibility for strengthening government communication and ensuring that information on government schemes, programmes, and initiatives reaches the people effectively.
Dr. Pame spoke on the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, under which India aims to become a developed nation by 2047, when the country will mark 100 years of Independence. He said that every government department and official has an equal responsibility in contributing towards this national vision.

He also spoke on the importance accorded to the IMPCC by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and recalled the directions of the union minister for Information & Broadcasting for strengthening inter-media coordination.
He said that the IMPCC should not be viewed as the responsibility of any single organisation but as a collective platform for all government departments and media-related organisations to coordinate their publicity and outreach activities.
During the meeting, representatives of various member departments presented brief reports on their major schemes, programmes, activities, and publicity initiatives. The reports highlighted the initiatives undertaken by the respective departments and provided an opportunity for members to share information and coordinate future outreach activities.
