KOHIMA — Thejavizo Merhieso of Nerhema village emerged as the champion of the 35th Northern Angami Youth and Sports Association Group - C (NAYSA-C) Wrestling Meet held at Tsiesema village on Thursday.
Merhieso emerged as the winner in the senior category while Petoulhoulie Soriinuo of Zhadima secured the second title.
Keneichütuo Semou of Nerhema village and Ruokuovizo Sorünuo of Zhadima village won third and fourth positions respectively, stated an update.

In the Under-15 category, Keviletuo Khro of Tsiesema won the first place, Ketouphrezo Khro (Tsiesema) came in the second place while Viketoulie Miario (Zhadima) and Razousuetuo Rutsa (Nerhe Model) won third and fourth respectively.
Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, advisor for School Education and SCERT, attended the inaugural function as the chief guest while Seyiekhrielhou Kuotsu, personal assistant to the chief minister, was the special guest for the prize distribution ceremony.
Kuotsu gave away the prizes to the winners.
