The chief minister of Manipur Biren Singh, chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu, Assam Finance Minister Hemanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju called on Governor of Odisha Dr.SC Jamir at the Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar on April 16. They thanked Dr. SC Jamir for the “cordiality and warm reception given to them,” an update said on Sunday. The meeting was said to have lasted about half an hour. The leaders from the northeast states are presently in Bhubaneswar for a two-day National Executive Meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party, it was informed.
