After the successful completion of the Stage Nagaland screening round, the selected contestants had an intense brew in the "Battle Round," which was held on Oct. 30 at Hotel Acacia's Conference Hall in Dimapur.
A press release from the organisers informed that eight contestants out of 22 were eliminated in the "Battle Round". The selected contestants will have another battle round for "The Grand Finale" on November 9.
Mengu Sokhrie was invited as the guest judge along with other two judges Yanpo Humtsoe and Tokaholi Chishi.
The full version of the "Battle Round" video will be uploaded on YouTube channel and the link will be provided on the Musicians Academy official page on social media, it informed.
The Stage Nagaland is being conducted in five categories- choir, quartet, trio, duet and solo.
The winner of the show will win a cash prize of INR 1 lakh with a contract of free music course from Musician's Academy Dimapur and free music recording (including both video and audio) from New Life Studio and Aron Asumi Studio.
Abel Toluvi Asumi, the proprietor of Musician's Academy, is the Managing Director of the event and Shiwoto Yeptho as co-organiser.
The show is supported by M-Table, Tribal Audio sound, Naga Store 3rd Mile and Ajulho Entertainment, Dimapur.
