DIMAPUR — The Local Press, a new-age printing and creative solutions studio, was officially inaugurated on June 27 at the Town Hall in Changtongya.
According to an update, the event was attended by community members, local leaders, church pastors, and representatives from educational institutions and small businesses across the region.
Founded and managed by two brothers, Yangerlong Jamir and Imtitangit Longkumer, The Local Press aims to bridge the urban-rural divide in professional printing and digital services.

Located in Church Ward near SBI Changtongya, the studio brings city-standard printing closer to home for the Tuli–Changtongya–Mokokchung corridor and beyond.
During the launch, the founders highlighted the lack of accessible, high-quality printing options in the region, noting that the nearest professional presses are over 40 km away, which has long posed challenges in terms of cost, time, and convenience for residents and institutions.
The Local Press seeks to solve this with reliable, affordable, and personalised services.
The studio offers printing services, including wedding cards, brochures, certificates, magazines, and flex printing. It also specialises in custom products such as jerseys, mugs, mementos, and promotional items. In addition, it provides digital solutions like website development, branding, and software services for schools, NGOs, and small businesses.
