DIMAPUR — The much-anticipated musical extravaganza ‘The last summer’ under the banner ‘Naga nights’ brought together a talented mix of local stars and emerging artistes at the NEZCC in Chümoukedima on Friday evening, celebrating the rich musical heritage of Nagaland.

From the electrifying beats of Polar Lights, Since 90’s, and J Pollnd to the soulful performances by WY Bohayin, Kim, Riele, and many more, the night was a feast for music lovers. Adding charm to the show was host Vitoka Assumi, while the DJ kept the crowd buzzing with energy.

The initiative draws inspiration from the Hornbill Festival, Nagaland’s cultural crown jewel, but seeks to go a step further by offering a dedicated stage for local artistes who often lack regular platforms to shine.

Organised by Naga Nights, the event aimed to amplify homegrown talents and create a vibrant space where the state’s music scene could take centre stage.

Also joining the stellar lineup were Kikato T Ayemi, NLN Bono Swu, Banger, Gideon Sumi, and The Cousins, ensuring the night ended on a high note despite the weather’s mood swings.
