DIMAPUR — The Beauty and Aesthetic Beauty Studio was inaugurated at Upper Chandmari in Kohima on Monday with a vision to bring professional, international-standard beauty, wellness and aesthetic services closer to the people of Nagaland.
An update issued on Monday informed that the inauguration programme was graced by Hekani Jakhalu Kense, MLA and Advisor, Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland, as the special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Hekani Jakhalu Kense encouraged the youth of Nagaland to venture more actively into entrepreneurship and create opportunities not only for themselves but also for others. She emphasised the importance of putting sound financial management systems in place from the very inception of a business, stressing that financial discipline is fundamental to sustainable growth and long-term success.
She also reminded the gathering that God must remain the foundation of every endeavour, underscoring the importance of faith, integrity, discipline and perseverance in building a meaningful and sustainable enterprise.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mengunuo, Proprietor of The Aesthetic Beauty Studio, said that her vision is to bring international standards and Korean-inspired aesthetic treatments closer to home.
She said Korean aesthetics particularly inspires her because it focuses not merely on immediate results, but on maintaining healthy, hydrated, radiant and youthful-looking skin. She expressed her desire to ensure that clients receive professional care, quality treatments, comfort and confidence without having to travel outside the state to access comparable services.
Dr. Mengunuo further explained that the studio does not believe in promising instant transformations. Instead, its approach is centred on understanding each client’s individual needs, selecting appropriate treatments, maintaining overall skin health, and helping clients achieve a natural, healthy and radiant appearance.
She also expressed her commitment to creating employment opportunities for young people and helping them develop professional skills in the beauty and wellness industry. She said the studio aspires to grow not merely as a business, but as a platform where employment can be generated, knowledge can be shared, the next generation of beauty professionals can be trained, and everyone involved can grow together.
The studio offers a comprehensive range of services, including facials, skin rejuvenation, hair treatments, hydration therapies, laser treatments, brightening procedures, and other invasive and non-invasive aesthetic treatments.
The studio currently has six trained professionals working alongside Dr. Mengunuo, including a nail technician, eyelash technician, aesthetician and massage therapist, bringing together diverse professional expertise under one roof.
