DIMAPUR — A thanksgiving programme in honour of Vimhalie Pienyii, Councillor for Ward 5 (Kitsubouzou) of the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), was held at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, on July 13.
Speaking on the occasion, Pienyü pledged to prioritise the community's well-being and emphasised his commitment to collaborating with his opponents to serve the people with a strong vision, according to a press release.
He also thanked his colony members, relatives, and supporters for their constant support and for standing by him throughout his journey.
Also, he encouraged the other councillors to work together for the development of the people. Although they come from different political parties and backgrounds, he expressed hope that, despite differences, they would move forward together.
Dzieseneilie Sachü, the chairman of Kitsubouzou, urged the councillor to serve the people with dedication. Vituozo Kire, the head GB of Kitsubouzou, expressed optimism that Pienyii would enhance the colony through his diligence and commitment.
