TGSU urges to restore power

Dimapur, Dec. 13 (EMN): Tesophenyu Group Students’ Union (TGSU) has drawn the attention of power department for immediate and alternative arrangement in installing transformer in Tesophenyu village within three days beginning from December 13 to 15. TGSU president AP Francis Magh and the general secretary Michael Seb stated that Tesophenyu group has been facing immense hardships without electricity for nearly two months owing to utter negligence and lukewarm attitude of the concerned department despite repeated requests. The union has made this appeal it would be hosting the forthcoming 39th Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) general conference from December 18 to 20 at Tesophenyu village. The union added that absence of power supply to the village would further multiply problems and chaos causing immeasurable consequences. The union has, therefore, urged the concerned department to immediately restore the transformer within the stipulated time. The union has further cautioned to take its own course of action if the concerned department fails to fulfil its demand.
