Dimapur, July 24 (EMN): The Texila American University (TAU) in Guyana of South America has offered scholarships up to INR 10 lakh for every meritorious student. Updates on Tuesday informaed.
The TAU is the Medical Council of India recognised medicine program. Most of the students aspiring to become doctors find it difficult to get a medical seat as there are only 65000 MBBS seats in medical colleges in India. Therefore, TAU was established to provide an option for them to consider studying MBBS abroad, the press release stated.
Further, it informed that TAU admits students twice a year in March and September. Since for most Indian students academic results are declared in June, they prefer September session for admissions
President of TAU, SP Saju Bhaskar said that the university is offering an opportunity to aspiring students to fulfil their dreams of becoming doctors by helping them with scholarship.
