DIMAPUR — Tetso College, Chümoukedima, organised the 10th edition of its national-level festival CoMFIESTA 2025 on October 17 with Temsusenla Jamir, Founder of Fusion, Dimapur, as the special guest.
In her address, Temsusenla Jamir shared her personal journey and encouraged students to embrace hard work. She highlighted the influence of the ‘Make in India’ initiative on her venture and discussed how government schemes like PM Vishwakarma support local artisans, the college stated in an update.
Jamir commended the college's facilities and advised aspiring entrepreneurs to gain practical experience before starting a business, while also reminding students to stay connected to their cultural roots.

Principal of Tetso College Dr. Hewasa L Khing, in her welcome address, emphasised the role of commerce and management education in strengthening Nagaland's economy and encouraged students to strive for excellence and become competent professionals.
The opening ceremony began with an invocation by Dr. Daniel M Khan of the Department of Political Science, followed by the college anthem and a symbolic ‘Watering of the tree of wisdom’ ceremony.
The festival featured a diverse range of competitive events, including NOVUS (business plan competition), Business Talkathon (debate), Prove the Mettle, Win the Battle (interview), BGMI and MOBA 5v5 (E-sports), Contrakeeno’s Quiz, Vignette Business Reels, and Comfiesta’s Got Talent,
Students from various institutions, including St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama; Dimapur Government College; St. Joseph University; Public College; Unity College; National Institute of Technology (NIT); and Christian Higher Secondary School, took part in the festival, showcasing their skills in business, creativity, and teamwork. The event concluded with an awards ceremony, where Tetso College was declared the overall champion. St. Joseph College (Autonomous) was named the overall runner-up and also recognised for exemplary discipline.
