Jain Girl’s College, Agape Higher Secondary School and Mount Mary College. “CoMfiesta 2018”, which is an inter-institute fest, was held on the theme ‘where talent meets’. The director of Tetso college, Kvulo Lorin, while delivering the keynote address, underscored the importance of the commerce subject and said that the development of a state rests largely on “commerce.” However, he regretted the statistics of the NBSE HSSLC exam 2017 for commerce stream showed that only 1169 students appeared for exams, out of which only 829 passed with 389 in the 1st division. While expressing alarm at the low number of students opting for commerce stream, Lorin emphasised on the need to address this issue and spreading awareness among the students on the importance of taking up the subject.
