DIMAPUR — The Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur (TSUD) has declared solidarity with the Zeliangrong Students' Union Nagaland (ZSUN) and the Zeliangrong Youth Organisation Nagaland (ZYON) in their demand for justice and the release of forensic reports in connection with the Pimla murder case.

In a press release, the TSUD said that it is deeply distressed by the glaring lapses in the investigation, the delay of forensic reports, and the premature release of the prime accused on bail despite serious allegations and public outrage.

“We believe these failures not only undermine the rule of law but also erode public trust in the justice system,” the statement read, adding that the union commends ZSUN and ZYON for their peaceful yet resolute mobilisation and their commitment to truth, dignity, and justice.

Their demands, including the release of forensic reports and accountability for those who facilitated bail, are legitimate and must be addressed with urgency and transparency, it said.

TSUD urged the Government of Nagaland and law enforcement agencies to take swift and decisive action to uphold the rule of law and also called upon faith-based organisations to stand in moral solidarity and encourage the public to remain vigilant and speak out against injustice, especially in matters affecting the dignity and safety of women.
